boho tea was a proud sponsor of the Women's Worth Breast Cancer Research fundraiser event that took place on Sunday April 25th. The event was successful, and we were able to raise awareness of the benefits of our organic loose leaf teas.
Breast cancer is increasingly being found in young, vibrant, healthy women. Our society has been unfortunately filled with toxins from the air we breathe to the processed food that surrounds us when we buy our groceries.
We have to set the goal of doing at least one healthy activity each day; whether it's taking the stairs instead of the escalators, drinking water instead of pop, having natural sugar instead of the aspartame alternatives and of course our favourite: DRINKING more ORGANIC loose leaf TEAS...
Always regularly check yourself for any lumps or unusual spots in your breast to armpit area. This is also applicable to men as they also can get breast cancer.
Let us all do our part to live healthier lives.
taste. experience. live! with our boho teas...

Add some cinnamon to your tea pot and let the wonderful cinammon spice infuse your next cup.
Some of the benefits are:
We personally love adding a small cinammon bark in our yellow loose leaf tea pot, while steeping our Skiny Oolong tea. The warm flavour is great in a cold winter day.

It's flu season again....which means more germs and colds. If you're feeling a bit down and your immune system is being overworked try the following IMMUNE BOOSTER infusions:

Spearmint is soothing on your stomach especially when you have the flu and helps drain the sinuses when you're feeling congested.
Pregnant women and nursing moms should drink Rooibos! It's caffeine free and the minerals and antioxidants in the tea will help your baby develop a stronger immune system. Many South Africans compare Rooibos to a mother's milk because of the many benefits of the herb.

So we've been having a pretty wet summer in the GTA. I guess the good thing about all this rain is that a) your lawn will look great and b) you get to enjoy a great cup of tea.
To soothe your soul, try one of our herbal fusions. They are decaf and will relax you while you watch the rain drops.
I suggest our Red Mint. This is one of our most popular blends. It combines Spearmint from North America and Rooibos from South Africa.
Relax and soothe your soul...
